A deep tissue massage is not harder on principle — it is more precise. We work the areas that pull: the upper back, shoulder blades, neck and the backs of the legs, using firm pressure and repeated passes rather than one broad stroke.
Ask for this if you have been carrying tension for weeks, if you work sitting down, or if you have done a lot of driving. The end of the session includes some gentle stretching and simple advice to use at home.

Questions about this treatment
It should be firm, not painful. We stay within what you can comfortably take: you say “softer” or “firmer” and we adjust as we go.
It is possible, but we suggest deep tissue before the hammam, or on a separate visit: steam relaxes the tissue and makes precise deep work less effective.
